    January 13, 6:30PM                     L1S1 Our Vision for Change                            

    Before working to change in society, we need to know what our vision for a better society is.  In our first session, we will discuss the founding vision of the United States, and how America’s “why” informs the efforts of Americans for Prosperity Foundation and our affiliated organizations.

    January 20, 6:30 PM         L1S2 Social Entrepreneurs and the Key Institutions        

    Social Entrepreneurs change the world.  Participants of this session will leave understanding how their passions and unique skills can contribute to a better society.  Through articulating their North Star, participants will guide one another through the Four Key Institutions of Society and demonstrate successful entrepreneurship in each institution.

    January 27, 6:30 PM                              L1S3 The Power of Storytelling       

    There is nothing more powerful to the human mind than a well-told story.  Effective storytelling can win others’ hearts and minds and inspire and Inspire them to action. In this session, you will learn how to craft your personal story and use to connect with others and bring them into your movement.

    February  3, 6:30 PM         L1S4 Building Relationships, Building Communities    

    Creating a better society does not happen in isolation.  You need to work within a community to create change. In this session, we discuss how to create lasting relationships, which in turn creates strong communities for real change.

    February 10, 6:30 PM                  L1S5 Working with Anyone to do Good   

    Coalitions are filled with change agents who unite with anyone to do good.  In this course, participants will understand how to identify potential coalition partners for a specific cause, likely and unlikely. Participants will also learn the steps to develop mutually beneficial relationships around that cause and increase your effectiveness by uniting with anyone to do what is right.

    February 17, 6:30 PM                  L1S6 Impacting Your Elected Officials             

    To affect large scale change, social entrepreneurs must impact all key institutions of society, including government. They can do so best by influencing their elected officials. In this course, we will discuss the importance of engaging legislative activism.  You will walk through the steps to building productive public relationships with their legislators and learn to employ the best practices to approaching and following up with elected officials
