Democrats in Lake County want to force the Lake County School Board to mandate mask wearing by all Lake County school staff and students.
We need all citizens and parents opposed to this idea to show up at the next meeting of the Lake County School Board.
Governor DeSantis has signed an Executive Order giving parents the right to make health choices for their children. This is as it should be.
Most county school boards in Florida are following this guidance. At the last meeting of the Lake County School Board, there was a motion to mandate mask wearing in schools. It was defeated 4-1. There was a motion to make mask wearing OPTIONAL. This was passed 4-1.
School Board Meeting: Monday, August 23, 6:00 pm, 201 W Burleigh Blvd, Tavares, FL 32778. Register before the meeting if you want to speak.
We will have a Freedom Rally before the meeting – beginning at 4:00 pm. Bring U.S. and Patriotic flags, if you can. Bring signs.
Wear yellow shirts or patriotic colors.
