The Republican Liberty Caucus Lake-Sumter works within the Republican Party to advance the principles of individual liberty, limited government and free markets.
To that end, we emailed a Liberty Compact and a questionnaire to each Republican candidate for the City of Minneola Seat 4 for the purpose of determining their governing philosophies and how well they aligned with our caucus core principles.
Each of these candidates returned a signed Liberty Compact and a completed
questionnaire. We are grateful for their participation, and we believe they provided their honest and forthright answers to our questions. We reviewed each Candidate answer and assigned a numeric score based on how well each answer aligns with our caucus position. We then determined an overall letter grade for each Candidate. The scoring method we used is included below.
It is our hope that this scorecard will advance our core principles while informing fellow Republican voters and our community at large of the governing philosophy of these Republican candidates.
